Computer Use

Computers are available for use by anyone with a Clinton-Essex-Franklin county library card. Use is first come first serve, and limited to one hour. Printing is available for $0.15 per page for black and white and $0.40 per page for color.

 

Free Wireless

The library’s public access network is called Public - no user name or password is required. Like most public hot spots, the library’s wireless network is not secure. You should not transmit sensitive data over any open wireless connection. 

You cannot print directly from your own device. The library’s wireless network provides Internet access only. However, you can print from our public computers.

 

Fines and Fees

  • Books and other materials are 20¢ per day per item, with a maximum fine of $5.00 per item or $25.00 for a single day’s returns
  • Videos are  50¢ per day per video with a maximum fine of $10.00
  • Fines must be paid by cash or check
  • Patron's accounts will be blocked if they have fines of $10.00 or more or a lost book on their account

 

Meeting Room Use

The library Auditorium is available for community groups to use during library hours. Requests for use must be made two weeks in advance by filling out the Auditorium Request form and submitting it to the front desk or emailing it to us. 

The Smart Room is available for small groups to book in advance. When not booked in advance, the room is open to the public.

Exam Proctoring

We understand the value of online education and the need for proctored exams. With advance notice, and schedules permitting, we are available to proctor college exams. You must provide your own laptop. For more information, contact the Library Director.
